Brushed Metal

Step 1: Follow Best Demonstrated Practices for the type of substrate you are working on to provide a high quality undercoat system.

Step 2: Mix PC2710 medium bright metallic basecoat at a ratio of 1:1 with PCS15 Advanced Integrated Fast Stabilizer. Apply 2 to 3 coats or until hiding is achieved. Allow Basecoat Color to dry for 30 minutes.

 
Step 3: With light pressure, scuff sand Basecoat Color with a gray nylon scuff pad. Carefully sanding in one direction will produce a Brushed Metal appearance. Sanding can be random for a different look, many different patterns can be achieved with this technique

Step 4: Carefully blow and tack off surface. Apply 2 coats of any Ultra Clearcoat.
